An Arkansas Riverside Retreat
I have had the opportunity to share so many incredible love stories… but there was something truly special about Bronwen and Ben's wedding at Gastons White River Resort in Lakeview, Arkansas. Despite flash floods and torrential downpour threatening to dampen the mood, the couple's wedding turned out PERFECTLY! It was a beautiful celebration, and the riverfront venue was surrounded by stunning fall foliage that provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. As an added bonus, the clouds parted just in time for sunset couple portraits that evening.
Bronwen and Ben's wedding was a true testament to the power of love, family, and community. The couple's families traveled from the Northeast corner of the US just to attend the wedding, which was a huge party where everyone laughed uncontrollably and danced the night away. It was impossible not to feel the love in the air, and the families were incredibly supportive throughout the entire day.
The decor was absolutely stunning and featured custom illustrations of the couple’s sweet pups (representing their signature drinks), beautiful greenery and florals that were designed by the Bride's sister, and countless thoughtful details that added a personal touch to the wedding. Last-minute (due to the rain), they transformed a basic white party tent into a reception area filled with warmth and romantic decor, and it was a beautiful space that truly captured the story of the couple's love.
One of the most touching moments of the night was when the bride's brother received a beautiful tribute at the reception. The entire crowd joined in for a dance to his favorite song, and it was a highlight for everyone in attendance. Those moments were a beautiful testament to how close and loving their family and friends truly are!
As a wedding photographer, I've been to many beautiful weddings, but Bronwen and Ben's wedding was intentional, sweet, and one of the most fun events I've ever captured.
